Hi. I’m Brandi, the hands and brains behind beeveedesigns. I work out of a tiny home studio in Conroe, Texas with my husband, kids, dogs, cats and any number of farm animals (currently we have chickens, guinea fowl and ducks). I am a maker, a designer, and a dreamer.
I’ve been making things with my hands for as long as I can remember – moving through mediums the way some people move through seasons. Jewelry found me about 25 years ago, and though life pulled me away from it for a while, the quiet calling never stopped.

What brought me home to it, finally, was frustration. I kept buying pieces I thought were beautiful – only to watch the finish rub away and the plating peel after a handful of wears. So I returned to the bench determined to make something different: jewelry built to be lived in, not saved for a special occasion. Made for me, worn every single day — and one day handed down to my children, carrying the memory of me in them, long after I’m gone.

Every piece is hand-knotted or worked in solid brass – chosen not as a stand-in for gold, but as the choice itself. Brass is a metal with memory. It darkens, warms, and wears the mark of every hand that holds it. It has history – in armor, in instruments, in coin. It has always been the metal of use, not display.
I hold onto that lineage in every piece I make, and I choose it because it holds its shape and its integrity for years, not just weeks. (Occasionally I work in other metals also.)

I’m drawn to unexpected color — combinations that shouldn’t work but do. That catch something in you before you can name it. Each piece is self-taught, hand-formed, made to be worn daily, aged with, never outgrown, and finally passed down to the next generation.
